Some nights seem to be just considerably better as compared to others. Right now is among those times. I am finally engaging in a absolutely consistent publishing routine. At this time I identified some intersting content and articles I would like to show you. This page regarding speaker wire caused me to take notice. My personal moment was already going good for me though so hopefully this posting finds you in a very good spirit too.

Q&A:
Question by steven d: why does my surround sound turn off & say”check spk wires” whenever the volume really gets going they r fine?
The receiver I have is a Yamaha it only goes says “check speaker wires when the sound really gets loud. It is impossible to enjoy a movie on dvd with the sound going out. All the connections look fine should I reattach them to speaker and the receiver. How much wire should be exposed, would they still work at low sound levels even if there were still wire exposed?

how much speaker wire that is bare shouldn’t make any diff. unless the bare place is touching something metal(besides the speaker terminal it’s supposed to be hooked to). I’m guessing, but it sounds like the impedance of the rear speakers are posing a problem for the receiver. Did the system come with the speakers? A lot of stereos have 8 ohm front speakers, and 16 ohm surround sound speakers. Look on the back of the speakers. If you have the 16 ohm speakers as your main left and right, and 8 ohm speakers for your surrounds, they need to be switched. If you bought the surrounds, look at the impedance and look at the receiver, where the surrounds hook up, or in the manual. It will tell you the minimum impedance for the surround sound speakers If your surround speakers have a higher impedance(lower number) than what the stereo can put out, you need new surround sound speakers. If none of this is true, than I hope you have a warranty!
