Aaron Audio No.1.a Integrated Amplifier Review

We are in a slight hurry now but I must get this post made. It is not very easy to stay on a good posting routine but I need to allow it to become disciplined. Maybe down the road I can post on this page even more frequently. Today I wish to reveal to you a nice article I discovered on speaker wire. It really is to some extent unique.

Aaron Audio No.1.a Integrated Amplifier Review
I don’t get to travel as much as I’d like to in the traditional sense, but every piece of audio equipment I review takes me on a journey of sorts. Whether it’s embarking on a symbolic trip overseas to the component’s origin or into the rarefied air of gear whose price exceeds my bankroll, the paths are always interesting and often enlightening. Q&A:
Question by ajharbisonmusic: How do you connect analog speakers, with speaker wire, to solderless phono plugs to connect to a TV?
The instructions on the phono plug differentiate between a “ground wire” and a “center conductor wire,” although both seem to be part of the speaker wire. Do I need to keep track of which side of the speaker wire is connected to the red and which to the black on the speaker itself, and that dictates which is which? Or am I off-base entirely? Any help or resources you can point to would be appreciated. Thanks!
The instructions on the phono plug differentiate between a “ground wire” and a “center conductor wire,” although both seem to be part of the speaker wire. Is it true, as I seem to have found online, that “BLACK = NEGATIVE = GROUND”? (And thus “RED = POSITIVE = CENTER CONDUCTOR”?) Any help or resources you can point to would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can actually use red or black on either connection BUT you have to keep it consistent, eg. you can’t put a black wire into a black socket, but on the other side have a black wire into a red socket.

What you need to hook up the bare speaker wire to your TV is called a “banana plug,” which you can find at bestbuy, circuitcity, radioshack etc.. All you do is insert the bare wire into one end of the banana plug, then stick it into the back of your TV.

Hope this has helped!
