Question by the crushinator: can I use “hookup wire” to wire my speakers?
I want to rewire my guitar cabinet. I know how to, but a couple wires are bad and I have 18 gauge hookup wire already…can I use that to wire the speakers or do I need specific “speaker wire?”

yeah you can but not recommended. you want actual speaker wire for the hookup.
