I’m 13 years old and have 3 younger sisters, two of them are 4 and twins and i take care of them on a daily basis once i pick them up from daycare (i walk its right by my school which is right by my house) I have also babysat infants and have a special “fun bag” that i keep craft supplies, new binkis and xtra diapers (just in case), children movies for all ages, and puppets and a special spray bottle of water i call “monster-be-gone” that has a pic of monster in front in case they are afraid to go to bed and story and coloring books. I also have a special form i bring over and have you write down emergency numbers and allergys and any other health problems etc. I have taken a cpr class and a cooking and child care class at my school. I never invite anyone over and can take car of children from 10 months or older. When im babysitting i do crafts, read stories, slip n slides, “princess” makeovers (i use my own makeup), bake cookies and do balloon animals and puppet shows and let the kids join in. i also do an “at home theater” with health snacks. My mom and i were planning to put up fliers around town so tell em if you would hire me and how much you would pay per hour :] thank you
I forgot to mention that i can babysit at ost 3 children because thats what i do at home and i have experience babysitting family and other children thankyou :]

You sound like basically the *perfect* babysitter. … Make sure you charge enough so people don’t take advantage of you just because you are under 18.
The Department of Labor states on their website that “Occupations such as babysitting are not subject to the minimum wage law.” But anyhow, the federal minimum wage is $ 7.25 per hour and I think you could possibly even ask more. Discuss it with your mom I guess. Good luck!
